Grust Krull

From Concept to Game-Ready Creature
Grust Krull is a frog-like creature developed from the ground up, starting with initial design explorations and ending with a fully game-ready 3D character.
This project allowed me to explore exaggerated forms and unique anatomical features, including a split-jaw mechanism that enables a dramatic tongue-based attack. I experimented with several silhouettes and action poses to better understand its movement and presence in a game environment.
Once the final concept was locked, I sculpted the model in high poly, retopologized it for optimal real-time performance, unwrapped the UVs, baked all necessary maps, and completed a full PBR texturing pass. The creature is ready for real-time use and retains all the essence of the original concept.

Full breakdown included in the project gallery. Feedback is welcome! :)
